About Tim Dalton

I’m Tim Dalton, an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist based in Loughborough, and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

A little about me and how I work

I trained to Masters level and work in an integrative way, which means I draw on several therapeutic approaches — including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred and Attachment Theory — rather than applying a single fixed method. I believe therapy works best when it’s tailored to the person in front of me, at a pace that feels safe.
Being based in Loughborough, I see clients in person, and because the wonders of technology mean you don’t have to travel to get support, I also offer sessions by video call and telephone.
